Six new specified road sections will be added from 1 September. Four new specified road sections will be created on the D4 Highway and R7 Expressway between Rovinka and Holice, one new specified road section will be added on 1st class road no. 64 on the Európa Bridge over the River Danube connecting Komárno and Komárom, and one more section will be added by changing the orientation of the specified road section on 1st class road no. 20 between the Košice North (Budimír) exit and the Ťahanovce outskirt.
Another 11 specified road sections will change their category from non-parallel 1st class specified road sections to 1st class specified road sections parallel to highways and expressways.
Also, 1 779 road sections will expire on 1 September. A total of 1 778 of canceled road sections is from the 3rd class road category, and they will no longer belong to the network of specified road sections. 2 357 specified road sections remain unchanged.
After all the above adjustments, including those not affecting the amount of toll (zero-rate sections), the number of specified road sections will be reduced by 1 773 to 2 374. The length of the network of specified road sections will be reduced from 17 614.6 km to 8 141 km.
