As of 1 July there will be 21 new specified road sections. From the originally 1 specified section, 4 new defined sections will be created following the reclassification of the expressway R2 into the 1st category road no. 16 between the urban districts of Košice-West and Košice-Šaca. Following the reclassification of the R4 expressway between the exit from the D1 motorway near the village of Budimír and Košice-North to the 1st category road no. 20, one new specified road section will be created. One new specified road section will be created on the R3 expressway by reclassifying D1 in Martin and one between Košice Oľšany and Hrašovík on the R4 expressway. One specified road section will be added in the municipal built up area of Malužiná. Two new specified road sections will be created by dividing one original section on the 1st category road no. 61 between Bratislava and Ivanka pri Dunaji, four on the 1st category road no. 63 between Bratislava and Dunajská Lužná. A total of 7 new specified road sections will be created on 2nd category roads no. 143 between Malacky and Rohožník, no. 502 between Bratislava and Trstín and no. 572 between Bratislava and Most pri Bratislave.
As of 1 July as many as 40 specified road sections will have various parameters modified. In case of 30 specified road sections the length of the charged sections will change together with other parameters, in case of 3 sections the name of the start or the end of the specified section will change and in case of 7 sections the name of the start and/or the end of a crossing will change.
The validity of 12 specified road sections will expire after 1 July, in case of 2 without a replacement. 4,086 specified road sections will remain unchanged.
After all the modifications, including those that do not affect the amount of toll payment (toll sections charged with zero-rate), the number of specified road sections shall increase by 10 to 4,148. The length of the network of the specified road sections will decrease by 0.2 km to 17,614.6 km.
